OUR STORY
Ichud Shivat Zion is a modern orthodox & Zionist community of young families and professionals from diverse geographical & cultural backgrounds and from all across the religious spectrum, who have moved to Tel Aviv. From our humble beginnings in January 2000, we have created a place of gathering and prayer that is warm, welcoming for our growing membership as well as guests, who regularly attend our bet knesset. Our minyan consists of a wide variety of people, from all different backgrounds, countries & levels of religiosity.

We are active on Shabbat and throughout the week with services, shiurim and two separate kollels. On Shabbat, we run a popular tefilat yeladim children's service with special treats. Children's programming is in our dedicated children's area that includes a lounge area, gymboree and library room with games.

We have a widely acclaimed 'kiddush club' with a selection of herrings and fine single malt whiskey. We have an open communal Kiddush every week after services, including cholent, kugels, herring, salads etc. Should you wish to sponsor the main kiddush or children’s kiddush, please email info@ichudtlv.com or call the shul office on 03 522 4047 for more information

We pride ourselves on being an open, warm & friendly community, where all are welcome and where different expressions of Yiddishkeit are encouraged. We conduct a wide range of activities including two Kollels, communal Shabbat and Holiday meals, fancy dress Megilla reading and Purim parties. Other commemorative Shabbat and holiday events such as a gala Yom Ha'atzmaut service, musical selichot services with instrumentals are held throughout the year.

Within the community center, we have two other minyanim. The Italian Minyan (www.ItalianiTelAviv.com) and Chug Hanoar (representing the elders of the community that preceded our Minyan). Both these communities have separate weekday and weekend services.
